K-Pop group Wanna One will work with international non-governmental organisation Save The Children.

KUALA LUMPUR: Wanna One is the next big thing in K-Pop.

So it's only natural that the South Korean boy group is chosen to work with the international non-governmental organisation Save The Children.

The body supports children in developing countries in promoting children’s rights in general.

According to a news report by Soompi, the nine-member outfit will be participating in the NGO’s fundraising campaign “Christmas Jumper Day,” which will take place in South Korea for the first time this year.

Through this campaign, Wanna One's duty is to inform people about the need to protect the interest of children across the globe.

One of its members Lee Dae-hwi said, “We are thrilled to take part in this campaign since we have wondered about how we could repay for all of the love we have received so far from many people.

"It would be great if they could join us in this great cause.”

Wanna One announced the collaboration at a Press conference for the release of its repackaged album 1-1=0 (Nothing Without You) on Monday.
