KUALA LUMPUR: Music is universal and many Malaysians love K-Pop. But there are also South Koreans who dig local artistes here.

Like the girls from Blimey who have their own channel on YouTube. The trio of lasses recently uploaded a video of their review and reaction to a live music performance by Anugerah Juara Lagu 32 Best Vocal recipients - Syamel Fodzly and Ernie Zakri.

The clip of the duet was taken from their recent AJL32 performance where the two sang a rousing rendition of Aku Cinta, written and composed by Syamel.

The girls were all praise for the talented 20-something duo from the first bar of singing and confessed several times as the song progressed that they felt goosebumps.

They were clearly moved by the performance and highlighted the perfect harmony and tone of the duet.

“Now I know why they won the prize,” said one, while another added, “I don’t understand the lyrics but it’s so sad I could cry.”

“Ernie’s voice was pure, clear and also very powerful,” the third girl said of the Bintang RTM 2009 champion in the 7-minute video clip.
