KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor hopes to use her nomination at Monaco’s International Influencer Awards 2019 as a platform to expand her business empire.
The 30-year-old celebrity said she didn’t expect her name to make it into the nomination list of the awards event, organised by the royal family of Monaco, a microstate on the French Riviera.
“While winning the award would be a significant achievement for me, I’d want to take this opportunity to meet other influential nominees from all around the world and expand my professional network,” she said in a press statement yesterday.
Neelofa who is nominated in the Entrepreneur category added: “God-willing, I’ll attend the event as opportunity like this doesn’t come often and I really appreciate the organiser who has made arrangement for my flight and accommodation there.
She will be in Monte Carlo for the event, scheduled to be held from Oct 5 to 6.
She also hopes that this nomination will inspire Malaysians to work hard to achieve their dreams.
Organised for the second time, the awards event is the brainchild of Pauline Ducruet, the eldest daughter of the Monégasque princess, Princess Stephanie and her partners Lolita Abraham, Maxime Giaccardi and Thomas Peters.
