KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Liza Hanim reveals that throughout her marriage to Mohd Shahrin Mohd Samsudin, they have experienced many turbulences.
But what was most upsetting for her was when they were backstabbed by those closest to them.
Liza, 39, revealed this in an Instagram post recently in conjunction with their 16th wedding anniversary.
She posted photo of her and Shahrin who is a former member of vocal group Indigo, with the accompanying caption that read: “At the end of the day, its you and me sayang.... We have been thru ups and down, and many more ahead.
“We have endured too many knives in the back and sadly, those knives came from those who are close to us... its okay yang, Allah Maha Adil, what goes around comes around.”
Cautioning her husband that the “attacks” would only be greater in the future, Liza said: “Let’s face it together. Let’s make time for self-reflection and accept (challenges that come our way).”
The couple tied the knot in 2003 and have been blessed with five children — Marsya Qistina, 16; Marissa Qalreen, 10; Mohamed Salahuddin, 8; Mohamed Ibrahim, 4; and Mohamed Al Fateh, 10 months.
