KUALA LUMPUR: She may still be mourning the death of her husband, Ashraf Sinclair, but Bunga Citra Lestari believes that the "show must go on".
The Indonesian actress and singer is set to perform alongside popular Irish singer Ronan Keating in the Romantic Valentine Concert at Pullman Jakarta Central Park this Saturday.
And the duo will also be joined by Filipino singer-actor Christian Bautista.
The Jakarta Post reported yesterday that Bunga, 37, had known Keating of Boyzone fame since the 1990s and was honoured to perform with him in the upcoming concert.
"Though still in mourning, Bunga Citra Lestari is a true professional and she will still perform at the concert alongside Ronan Keating, an artiste whom she has known since the 1990s. She will be singing some of her popular songs, plus a duet with Keating and another with Bautista," said Yenny Erlin, a spokesperson for Bunga's management.
"It is a positive thing for her to continue to work and her late husband would have want that as well."
Bunga has three studio albums namely Cinta Pertama (2006), Tentang Kamu (2008) and The Best Of BCL (2013).
Her best known songs include Cinta Pertama, Tentang Kamu and Cinta Sejati.
Her acting career began in 2004, and her best known films include Kangen, Saus Kacang, Habibie & Ainun and My Stupid Boss.
Actor and television host Ashraf died of a heart attack aged 40 last Feb 18 in Jakarta.
Bunga and Ashraf were married in 2008 and they have a 10-year-old son, Noah Aidan Sinclair.
