KUALA LUMPUR: Chocolate fans can now enjoy the delicious concoction of milk chocolate and oreo with the launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo.

Mondelez Malaysia (previously Kraft Foods Malaysia) recently collaborated with Cadbury Malaysia to launch its latest chocolate creation.

Mondelez International Southeast Asia associate director Vikram Karwal said combining the two iconic brands to create the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo built on the best-loved features of each product.

“Magic happens when two great things come together, be it great celebrity duos, unforgettable hero-villain rivalries or peanut butter and jam.

“Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo, which is gaining popularity in several international markets, is a delicious combination of Cadbury Dairy milk chocolate and the crunchiness of Oreo cookies, held together by a flavoured cream filling that promises to excite in every bite.”

He said following the successful launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations and Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb and Nuts, Mondelez Malaysia was taking innovation one notch higher by combining two of its global brands into one product.

“With this launch, Mondelez has yet again combined its deep consumer insight, global expertise in a chocolate and breakthrough innovation capabilities.

Vikram said the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo was attracting new consumers and long-standing Cadbury and Oreo fans in many countries.

“The unprecedented growth of the chocolate market in Southeast Asia is attributed to the preferences of taste for new innovative products, the snacking behaviour of the younger consumers and their spending power,” he said.

The new Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo is available in major hypermarkets and supermarkets at RM3.30 for the 40g packet, RM4.20 (60g) and RM8.90 (130g).
