KUALA LUMPUR: A PKR grassroots member has urged the party’s leaders to take action against strategic director Rafizi Ramli for allegedly being behind fights and chaos during the party polls.
Party member and leader of a non-governmental organisation Pandan Society Group, Ridzuan Muhammad, claimed that Rafizi had pre-planned the fights and brawls that disrupted the party polls in Selangor.
He said the “Kajang Move” engineered by Rafizi was a ploy to remove Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
“The so-called ‘Kajang Move’ did not end after the by-election. He and his team had gone on to plan the chaos that happened in the Selangor PKR polls.
“It is like Rafizi is the ‘anak emas’ (blue-eyed boy) of the party. He can never do wrong.”
Ridzuan claimed party leaders knew of his doings, but Rafizi remained safe from any disciplinary action.
“I am all for the party. But when an individual tries to create friction within the party for his own political mileage, I object.”
He said the grassroots were beginning to question the infighting and many had questioned the rationale behind the Kajang Move.
Ridzuan said the grassroots wanted party leaders to come clean with the crisis.
