KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has received the interim report on the initial findings of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) from the Auditor-General (A-G).

PAC members will be given a briefing, followed by a question and answer session.

The PAC meeting is expected to end around 4pm today. And they may be continued on Friday should there be insufficient time to take questions from the floor.

Nur Jazlan, had, last Thursday said the bi-partisan committee would ask the A-G the scope of the audit, if it was limited or restricted and if witnesses were co-operative.

Earlier, Nur Jazlan had said that all information provided would be used in questioning 1MDB chief executives and board of directors early next month.

He noted that it was up to the A-G whether the interim report's findings would be made known to Members of Parliament and the public.
