BUKIT MERTAJAM: Permatang Pauh Pas Youth has decided to stick to its gun in staying out of the Permatang Pauh by-election campaign.

Its chief Wan Ahmad Rafaei Abd Rashid said they would proceed with the plan to boycott the PKR by-election machinery.

"We will not follow the stand of Permatang Pauh Pas division.

"We will stick to the stand made by Penang Pas Youth demanding Penang PKR Youth to publicly retract their statement on Pas and our president (Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang) and on hudud," he said after attending the launching of Permatang Pauh Pas division machinery for the by-election at the Haji Yusof Ar-Rawa hall in Sama Gagah here last night.

On April 13, Permatang Pauh Pas Youth had voiced their disagreement on PKR's candidacy for the by-election, saying that the latter's resistance against hudud would not bode well for the constituency.
