KUALA LUMPUR: Police will investigate and take action against those who uploaded a video of a 90’s singer singing in handcuffs, which had gone viral on the Internet and WhatsApp application recently.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar tweeted today that action would be taken against individuals who were found to be responsible.
The 1 minute and 23 seconds video, showed the singer, singing in a lock-up after he was asked to sing one of the band’s hit song with his right hand handcuffed.
The lead singer of a popular 90’s band was picked up by the police yesterday with his girlfriend for suspected drug abuse.
Police also seized a packet believed to be heroin in one of the room in Taman Keramat, Ampang where the duo was nabbed.
