KUALA LUMPUR: Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) is working with Selangor Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association (SFFLA) to advance training and human capital development in the trade facilitation and logistics industry.

DNeX was formerly known as TIME Engineering Bhd. Through its subsidiary company, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, it recently sponsored 25 PCs for the association’s training and educational programmes.

The PCs are placed at a training room called “Dagang Net Training Room” at Wisma SFFLA in Port Klang.

Under this sponsorship collaboration, Dagang Net can use the training room and the association’s facilities to conduct training and educational programmes.

A memorandum of agreement on the sponsorship collaboration was recently signed by DNeX deputy executive chairman Datuk Samsul Husin, who is also executive chairman of Dagang Net, and SFFLA president Alvin Chua.

SFFLA was established in 1973 and has a membership of more than 600.

Its mission is to promote its members’ activities and raise awareness of Port Klang as the premier port in Malaysia.

“We are pleased to undertake this sponsorship collaboration with SFFLA, which has been an important stakeholder and partner for us throughout the years. We look forward to future collaborations with the association in efforts to enhance overall effectiveness and competitiveness of the trade facilitation and logistics industry to ease the facilitation and streamlining of international trade processes for smoother transactions,” said Samsul.
