KUALA KANGSAR: Despite his tight schedule during his enthronement, Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah still managed to spend some time visiting media centre in Kolej Universiti Islam Sultan Azlan Shah here today.

The ruler spent almost 45 minutes to visit and chat with almost 200 media practitioners accredited to cover the ceremony.

Sultan Nazrin Shah, clad in a black ‘baju batik’ arrived at about 3pm before he observed the operations of the media practitioners including press, news portal and television stations.

The ruler was later given a briefing on the media operations by the state Information Department director Mohd Aszahari Abdul Rahman.

During his visit at the Balai Berita booth, which housed the New Straits Times Press media personnel, he was amazed of his family portraits taken by photographers L. Manimaran and Supian Ahmad.
