KUALA LUMPUR: TH Plantations Bhd registered 184 per cent increase in its net profit to RM20.2 million for the second quarter ended June 30, on the back of 38 per cent rise in revenue to RM132.59 million, from the previous corresponding quarter. The company attributed the increase in revenue to a five per cent growth in production of fresh fruit bunches and 14 per cent expansion in its crude palm oil (CPO) production. In a statement, TH Plantations said inline with stronger commodity prices during the quarter, the group also saw its CPO average selling price improve by 17 per cent to RM2,524 per tonne.
