IPOH: Pakatan Harapan is confident of winning the Kuala Kangsar by-election provided that it fields former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as its candidate.
Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming claims that Dr Mahathir still has support of the people.
He however said Perak DAP would not forward Dr Mahathir's name when the Pakatan Harapan presidential council sits.
"I am open to any possibilities and accept any decisions made by the council," he said.
Nga, who is also Taiping member of parliament, said Dr Mahathir might not have the stamina for the by-election but his mind is still alert.
"He knows Barisan Nasional's tactics and if he wins, we will let him sit facing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in Parliament," he said.
