IPOH: The 2016 Pangkor Dialogue kicked off this morning with over 1,000 local and international delegates in attendance at [email protected] Hotel here.
In his opening remarks, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the three-day dialogue would act as a platform to brainstorm ideas and share experiences towards creating sustainable development.
"Your presence will greatly shape discussions and open up the minds of all those present," he said.
Zambry added that the time was now for leaders and thinkers to show responsibility in creating sustainable developments.
"I believe that these sessions will enrich you, with our impressive international line-up of speakers, like Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus and other world leaders," he added.
