North Korean ambassador to Malaysia Kang Chol speaking to the press at the North Korean embassy in Kuala Lumpur after the murder of Kim Jong-nam.

When Lahad Datu, Sabah, was attacked by Sulu forces in February 2013, the opposition and their supporters mocked and blamed the Barisan Nasional government.

When Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared in March 2014, they again mocked and blamed the government.

Similarly, when Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down in July 2014, they trained their guns on BN.

On Feb 13, when Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, was killed at klia2, again, the government was mocked.

The incidents and subsequent reactions by the opposition and their supporters clearly demonstrate a lack of patriotism and love for our country. They do not seem to understand the role of a loyal citizen.

When the dignity and pride of our nation are smeared and tarnished by foreign elements, the opposition only show their indifference.

They appear to accommodate foreign interference and disturbance.

Where is the big rally or street demonstration they so often organise to express their displeasure at the government?

Why aren’t they protesting against foreign intrusion and North Korea’s lack of respect for the country’s laws?

North Korean ambassador to Malaysia Kang Chol, despite being summoned by Wisma Putra, has continued to berate and insult us. Why aren’t the opposition making their voices heard? Kang Chol even had the audacity to demand a joint investigation, yet, the opposition has not said a word.
