KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Negara has passed the Supplementary Supply Bill (2016) 2017 without any debates tonight.
The bill had been tabled to seek an additional allocation of RM3.081 billion for several ministries as additional expenditure for services and RM987.8 million as first additional development expenditure of 2016.
The Education Ministry is seeking RM297.96 million, Transport Ministry (RM215.7 million), the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (RM128 million), Health Ministry (RM104.4 million), Election Commission (RM62.78 million) and Foreign Affairs (RM24.126 million).
The bill had been passed by the Dewan Rakyat on March 28.
Dewan Negara proceedings resume tomorrow.
