BACHOK: A family of six, who died in a tragic crash in Jempol, Negri Sembilan yesterday, will be buried in a single grave.

They are Wan Mohd Fauzi Wan Ibrahim, 51, and his wife Mas Noraida M Yusoff, 45; and their children Wan Muhamad Iskandar, 22; Wan Nor Atirah, 18; Wan Mohamad Amar Haziq, 13; and Wan Nor Alisha, 7.

Azmi Hamzah, who is Wan Mohd Fauzi's brother-in-law, said the remains would be buried at the Jelawat cemetery as soon as they arrive from Jempol, Negri Sembilan.

"The family is making the preparations for the burial.

"We will first perform a 'solat jenazah' at a nearby mosque before bringing the remains to the cemetery," he said when met at Kampung Padang Pak Amin here today.

Azmi said the bodies are expected to arrive in Kelantan after midnight.

In the 2.20pm accident on Sunday, the family's Proton Exora had collided with a trailer which had veered into its path.

The impact crushed the Exora and it burst into flames.

The accident also killed a husband and wife, Osman Mohamed Taip, 31 and Rosniza Othman, 32, who were in a Perodua Myvi. Their three-year-old son, who was with them, is badly injured.

The drivers of the trailer and another car in the incident were uninjured.
