JOHOR BAHRU: The Sultan Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, plans to forge a strategic cooperation with a major supermarket to operate in Johor.
In the latest entry on his official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim said the supermarket will sell essential goods at much lower prices.
“This supermarket has given its assurance that it can sell items at 10 per cent lower (than other supermarkets) and at the same time, maintain its quality.
“This will enable the people, especially the lower-income group, to obtain basic and daily essentials at affordable prices,” he said.
Sultan Ibrahim said a further announcement on the matter will be made soon.
According to his Facebook post, Sultan Ibrahim is currently in the Middle East on a personal visit.
