PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has lambasted those attempting to undermine the Selangor administration, amid calls for Pas excos in the line-up to quit.
The Selangor menteri besar and PKR deputy president labeled those who seeking to do so as "political eunuchs" who wanted to destabilise the state government.
His remarks follow political analysts' suspicions on PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli's attack’s against Pas, which is seen as a sabotage against Azmin's position in the state.
"There is an individual, and a group of political eunuchs who are envious of Selangor's achievements and are trying to undermine the state's stability,"Azmin said.
Speaking at the simultaneous opening of PKR Wanita and Youth wings' assembly, here tonight, Azmin also labeled the group as "traitors to the people."
"They created polemic and carried out provocations. But they forgot they are facing Azmin Ali and PKR.
"Those who try to do so in Selangor are traitors to the people", he said.
Pas had severed ties with PKR last week, following several attacks made by Rafizi against Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and former No.2 Datuk Dr Nasharudin Mat Isa.
The dissolution of the ties between the two former allies, led to calls for the three Pas excos in the Selangor administration to quit, while PKR ordered its members who are political appointees in the Kelantan government to resign.
Pas however refused to reciprocate, and made a decision to maintain its excos in the Selangor line-up.
