KUALA LUMPUR: Each time Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak makes a public appearance, chances are he would be asked the question: when will the 14th General Election (GE14) be held?

This has been a staple of each of his press conferences, with Najib having dropped hints previously on when the election would be held.

The prime minister however, today turned the tables on the media today, at the official opening of the first meeting of the sixth session of the 13th Parliament.

Crowded by reporters, Najib, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, instead popped the question to the press first, “Bila election?”

The spontaneous action drew laughter from the media horde.
