KUALA LUMPUR: Public bickerings either between Pakatan Harapan (PH) component parties or within a party will not help the ruling coalition.
Calling for an immediate halt of such open disputes, PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded PH that the rakyat was always watching.
"We have very little space and opportunity to prove that PH truly is capable of changing the fate of the people and the nation," Anwar said in a statement tonight.
He urged for the cooperation in PH to be strengthened via party channels.
The Port Dickson MP said he has been observing statements made by PH leaders of late, particularly those from his own party.
"In the current climate of understanding the cost of living that continues to plague the rakyat, I urge all PH leaders to focus on generating economic growth and making the rakyat more comfortable.
"Leaders must calm things down and refrain from making negative statements," he said.
Anwar's reminder comes as several PH leaders have been locked in public disputes, particularly concerning the calls being made for minister P Waytha Moorthy to resign.
