MBPJ helps residents to dispose of bulky waste

THE Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MBPJ) has embarked on a spring cleaning programme to help residents dispose of their bulky waste in preparation for the Chinese New Year celebration.

The programme is aimed at assisting residents to rid of bulky items such as old cupboards, furniture and other heavy household items.

The programme, which started on Saturday, ends on Feb 3.

The collection of the items is between 10am and 2pm (see table).

The areas that are part of the programme include Section 17A, Bandar Utama, SS20 and SS21, SS23 and SS22, and Kampung Cempaka.
