Striker Luqman set for big move to Europe

KUALA LUMPUR: Striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin, who shone for Malaysia at the recent Asean Football Federation Under-18 championship, will be playing professional football in Belgium.

He will sign a five-year contract with Belgium’s K.V. Kortrijk and will join them next year. The move was announced by Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman today.

K.V. Kortrijk belong to Tan Sri Vincent Tan, who is also the owner of English league club Cardiff City.
