PETALING JAYA: Some 21,672 units of PR1MA homes, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM2.3 billion, will be up for sale during 81 PR1MA Open Day (POD) showcases nationwide, from now to May 28.

Perbadanan PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said that after years of focusing solely on building the foundations of its mission, PR1MA is now ready to offer its products to the market.

He said to date, PR1MA has held 30 PODs and 26 mini-PODs nationwide, with the latter targeted towards prospective corporate and government buyers.

"The POD is an interactive way for us to meet prospective buyers personally and explain our products.

"Aside from PODs, PR1MA will also open more sales galleries to make it easier for homebuyers to peruse PR1MA products and facilitate the home-purchasing process," he said during a media briefing here today.

Mutalib added that apart from the sales gallery headquarters at Oasis Ara Damansara, PR1MA has a sales gallery and office in Kuching, Sarawak.

"Future sales galleries in the pipeline include ones in Melaka, Sabah and Perak," he said.

With 8,475 homes completed, PR1MA has show houses at 12 of its project sites – from Kuala Ketil and Sungai Petani 2 in Kedah, to Cyberjaya and Bandar Meru Raya in Perak.

As of April this year, 1.43 million Malaysians have registered with PR1MA and 166,972 of them have applied for PR1MA housing units.

To date, PR1MA's Members of Corporation has approved the construction of 265,033 housing units, with 139,419 currently in various stages of construction. Of that figure, 10,103 units nationwide have been booked, with 8,133 already passing the sales and purchase agreement signing stage.
