MALAYSIA are assured of at least one Sea Games squash gold after Chan Yiwen and Rachel Arnold (pic) reached the women’s singles final.

And, if things fall into place, it could well be a double celebration for Malaysia today as Addeen Idrakie also advanced to the men’s singles final.

In yesterday’s semi-finals, Yiwen downed Filipina Jemyca Aribado 11-6, 11-7, 13-11 while 2017 KL Games silver medallist Rachel defeated Singapore’s Au Yeong Wai Yhann 11-6, 11-3, 11-8.

Addeen, meanwhile, thrashed Singapore’s Chua Man Chin 11-3, 11-3, 11-2 to set up a title decider against experienced Filipino Robert Andrew Garcia.

The Filipino had earlier downed Malaysia's Darren Rahul Pragasam 11-5, 8-11, 9-11, 11-3, 11-5 in the last four.

The finals will be held at the Manila Polo Club court today.
