KUALA LUMPUR: Australian furniture brand King Living, which recently opening its second showroom unit in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar here, believe the brand acceptance in Malaysia will continue to grow in the coming years.
Chief executive officer Anna Carrabs said the furniture brand has been handling sales and inquiries from customers throughout Malaysia, despite both of brand's stores are located in Kuala Lumpur.
"We have been in Malaysia for the past 18 months and we have seen our brand's acceptance that has grown well. Considering what we have have achieved over 18 months, I believe our brand will grow well here in Malaysia," she told The New Straits Times in a recent interview.
In 2017, King Living opened its flagship store in IPC Mutiara Damansara with a 5,700 square foot showroom offering a wide array of furniture products.
"We know Malaysians buy furniture and our brand brings new designs and freshness that appeals to modern Malaysian homes," Anna said.
To a question on customer demographics, Anna said while the brand appeals to all Malaysians, many of its customers are professionals who wants to keep their furniture for a long time.
Anna also emphasised that King Living is a premium yet affordable brand and that appeals to people in Malaysia and Asia, where people look for furnitures that are designed and long lasting.
