KUALA LUMPUR: In an effort to provide customers with greater assurance, Lazada has initiated a delivery guarantee service on its LazMall purchases that’s also backed by compensation for late delivery.
Simply called LazMall Guaranteed Delivery, this service is currently live in Malaysia for LazMall deliveries within the Klang Valley, with plans to expand its footprint nationwide.
Once an order is made from LazMall sellers covered by LazMall Guaranteed Delivery, customers will see a stated delivery date on the Order Confirmation page.
Customers will receive compensation automatically credited to their Lazada Wallet upon delivery if it exceeds the promised delivery lead time, without the need to file a claim.
The service covers a curated selection of products available on LazMall, including popular items in the electronics, mother and baby, and home appliances categories.
“The introduction of this guarantee is a reflection of our logistics capabilities in the Malaysian market, where the majority of orders placed on Lazada are fulfilled by our very own Lazada eLogistics Express (LEX). This is a showcase of our confidence in our logistics infrastructure in bringing premium shopping experiences to our discerning shoppers,” said Lazada Malaysia chief executive officer Leo Chow.
“Urgency has become a necessity in fast-paced lifestyles, and we want to meet the needs of our customers by providing certainty in our delivery services so that they are assured that their items will arrive on time.”
This service supports the two other existing promises from LazMall which are ‘100 percent Authentic’ and ‘15-Day Returns.’
