KUALA LUMPUR: To celebrate the holiday season, Safari Kid together with Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL) held a special event for the patients at the paediatric ward.
The children, mostly between 5 and 10 years old, were treated to a puppet show and song from the Safari Kid team.
Safari Kid South East Asia regional head Jeremy Lee Danker said
that Safari Kid was happy to be
able to contribute to the community.
“For this festive visit, our teachers have developed a creative puppet show for the young patients at PHKL,” said Lee.
Safari Kid through its innovative learning methods have committed themselves to forming vibrant childhood experiences by fostering creativity and imagination.
Safari Kid has enjoyed success with early education, owing largely to their programmes and staff members who are passionate about teaching as well as accelerating
and strengthening the all-round development of children.
PHKL chief executive officer Anwar Anis said that the hospital
was constantly looking for opportunities to deliver more than just medical treatments.
“Without a doubt, laughter and joy will uplift the children and even aid their recovery, so it is a very special gift indeed.
“We are thankful to Safari Kid Asia for bringing smiles to many of our young patients, allowing them to be part of the festive cheer in a fun environment,” said Anis.
There were smiles all around as Safari Kid shared educational gifts with children in the spirit of Christmas and New Year.
The event gave the Safari Kid pre-schoolers the opportunity to learn about the spirit of giving.
