SHAH ALAM: Eight projects comprising 6,108 units of 1Malaysia Housing Projects for Civil Servants (PPA1M) will be built in Selangor.
Selangor exco for Housing, Building Management and Urban Settlement Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad said the state has agreed and approved the applications to build houses for the civil servants.
Iskandar stated that in a meeting today with PPA1M unit head Ismail Che Hassan at the Selangor State Executive Council, the application submitted by PPA1M was approved as it has met the local authorities’ terms and conditions.
He added that PPA1M is required to build 20 per cent of the homes for each Rumah Selangorku project.
“The maximum selling price for PPA1M homes are RM300,000 and the list of Rumah Selangorku home buyers must come from the Selangor Housing and Property Board,” he said.
Iskandar also shared that PPA1M’s developments must be equalled to that of Rumah Selangorku where project density should range from 80 to 120 units per acre, depending on the requirement of the local authorities.
He said the approval for the PPA1M project proves that the state government is open and willing to co-operate with the federal government to solve issues involving the interests of the people.
