KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia has lost a good man and a leader who had great foresight.
This was what Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has to say following the passing of Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem today.
"He was a leader who understood the sentiments of the people.
"I have not only lost a comrade but also a good friend.
"On behalf of the Sabah state government and the people of Sabah, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the family and the people of Sarawak on their loss," he said in a statement here.
Meanwhile in JOHOR BARU, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said Adenan's passing was a big loss to Malaysia, in general, and Sarawak, in particular.
"This is because he is in the middle of implementing various initiatives to develop the state.
"On behalf of the people of Johor, I would like to convey our condolences to Puan Sri Jamilah Anu and family as well as the people of Sarawak. May his soul be blessed by Allah."
