JOHOR BARU: Traffic flow along the southbound North-South Expressway (PLUS) today was reported to be moving slowly due to an increase in the volume of vehicles since noon.

Local and foreign registered cars, including from Singapore, made up most of the vehicles on the highway today.

A PLUS spokesman said the long and slow moving traffic crawl started to swell up after the Senawang rest and recreation area.

"The traffic in the morning was better but as noon approaches, the number of vehicle started to increase with some moving at speed of 40km per hour,"

On the contrary, the spokesman said northbound traffic from Johor was smoother.

For traffic updates, the spokesman said motorists should follow Plus Malaysia Berhad via its Plus Mobile apps (available in both android and IOS), or Twitter handle @plus2u or visit its website at www.plus.com.my.
