PETALING JAYA: DRB-Hicom Berhad celebrated the press recently with the 2019 Media Bowling Challenge at the Ampang Superbowl at Mutiara Damansara's [email protected], here.

26 teams from various media organisations took part in the tournament which was aimed at strengthening and improving the working relationship between DRB-Hicom and the press.

Everyone had a rolling good time, and the New Straits Times via its bowling team called "Mat Jebon" secured fourth place, receiving RM800 in cash vouchers.

TV3 (Podium 3) emerged champion with a total of 1,955 pinfalls, and they took home a prize of RM2,000 in cash vouchers.

Harian Metro (Metro Rangers) came in second with 1,887 pinfalls while Utusan Malaysia (Main Sampai Pencen) came in third with 1,822 pinfalls.

Both teams won RM1,600 and RM1,200 in cash vouchers, respectively.

In the individual category, Asrizal Aris from the Metro Rangers won first place with 575 pinfalls and received RM250 in cash vouchers.

DRB-Hicom Group Strategic Communications head Mahmood Abd Razak and his deputy Nur Balkish Hood handed over the prizes to the winners.
