He has been transferred back to the Rehabilitation Hospital in Cheras for doctors to monitor his progress and continue the physiotherapy session for his right shoulder.

KUALA LUMPUR: De facto PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been discharged from Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) this afternoon after being hospitalised earlier today.

He was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at 1am on Monday following an adverse reaction to a steroid injection for his shoulder injury.

PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil, in a statement said the party has been informed today that doctors have given Anwar the green light to be discharged.

He has been transferred back to the Rehabilitation Hospital in Cheras for doctors to monitor his progress and continue the physiotherapy session for his right shoulder.

It was reported that Anwar has been experiencing prolonged pain in his right shoulder several months ago but the pain started after the injection was administered last Saturday.
