KUALA LUMPUR: Jorge Pereyra Diaz, who walked out on the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) team on Sunday, may be heading for Indonesia.
According to Indonesian website, laporan football-tribe.com, the 27-year-old striker is linked to Indonesian club Persib Bandung.
Persib are helmed by former JDT coach Mario Gomez who is said to be interested in Diaz.
According to the web portal, Diaz is on the radar of the Indonesian club.
Football Tribe Indonesia chief editor Isidorus Rio said: “Diaz was previously linked with Persib when Mario Gomez was appointed as their chief coach.
“Gomez had said he wanted to bring in a foreign striker and Diaz was on his list.
“The Indonesian transfer window is still open and Persib still need a foreign striker.”
