Bangsar 'Hotel' taking up too much space

A SINGLE-STOREY terrace house in Lucky Garden, Bangsar which was converted into a 10-room double-storey “hotel”, has added to a list of woes suffered by its neighbours.

The hotel was extended to the backlane, forcing Alam Flora lorries to squeeze through it to collect rubbish.

To make matters worse, the hotel guests would also park in the backlane.

Muthu, who lives nearby, suspects the renovation was carried out illegally as there “is no way City Hall would allow such massive work in an already congested neighbourhood”.

“It lacks parking space, forcing its guests to park by the roadside, which is already congested,” he said.

City Hall, he said, must take action against the operator(s) as they appear to have flouted the the law.
