BANDAR Putera 2 residents in Klang have been going through constant power disruptions for two consecutive months.
JASHEELA said the disruptions were an annoyance.
“I am upset with the near-constant power disruptions in the area.
“It would occur every middle of the month and whenever we call Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) customer service, they would always tell us that it was due to “substation failure”.
Jasheela is seeking clarification and hopes a solution on the matter can be found soon.

In a statement, TNB said it was monitoring the power supply of Bandar Putera 2 to prevent future disruptions.
“Plans are afoot to upgrade the electricity supply infrastructure for Bandar Putera 2 as a long-term solution.
“However, TNB is still investigating the cause of the latest power disruption in April.”
It said that, according to TNB’s records, there were two earlier power trips in Bandar Putera 2 — in January and March.
“The first was due to a faulty cable while the second was caused by vandalism.
“Both disruptions, which occurred at our substation serving the area, was rectified within four hours.”
