Customer can't stomach dirty PJ food stall

DESPITE warnings to traders to keep their business premises, food stalls or restaurants clean, the same mistakes continue to occur.

A Petaling Jaya resident, who wished to be identified only as Emmet, shared his concerns about the hygiene of food stalls in Jalan Cecawi 6/19a.

He said he had seen rats scurrying around the area.

“I am a customer of the stall. In the beginning, the stall was clean, but the cleanliness has deteriorate.

“The stench and smell of rats are unbearable.

“I hope the Petaling Jaya City Council will take action against traders who do not keep their stalls clean.

“The council should conduct more checks.”
