Sapura Energy secures contracts worth RM879.01mln

KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Energy Bhd has secured four contracts, worth an approximate US$205.96 million (RM879.01 million) through its direct and indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Sapura Energy said three of the contracts were secured by Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd from PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, Brunei Shell Petroleum Co Sdn Bhd and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

Among the contracts secured by Sapura Offshore were engineering, procument, construction and installation of wellhead platforms, associated pipelines and tie-ins for Zawtika development project, to be completed in March 2018, and transportation and installation balance sub-sea works for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, to be completed by the second quarter 2017.

Sapura Offshore has also been awarded the contract to undertake the works for the Seria Crude Oil Terminal Oil Export System Upgrade Offshore Single Point Mooring Replacement by Brunei Shell Petroleum, which was scheduled to commence in April 2018 Its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Normand Sapura Pty Ltd has been awarded an inspection, repair and maintenance services contract by PTTEP Australasia Pty Ltd which would include saturation diving and remotely operated vehicle intervention works in Montara field, scheduled to completed by July. -- Bernama
