SUBANG JAYA: Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) is confident of breaking the RM2 billion turnover mark in FY2017, increasing its revenue by 11.73 per cent, over FY2016's reported figure of RM1.79 billion.
Its managing director Chung Soo Kiong said that the confidence in SunCon's performance was bolstered by the active domestic market thanks to the government's huge infrastructure spending on projects.
Chung spoke to the media after Sunway Construction Group's AGM today.
He also said that the company's orderbook is currently valued at RM4.6 billion, with pre-qualified new projects in the horizon.
SunCon's tenderbook is recorded at RM15 billion as the company continuously tenders for new projects, he said.
