Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) via its joint-venture company, Taisei Sunway, has bagged a contract worth RM139.83 million from Nippon Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to undertake the design and build works for Nippon Express’ new warehouse in Shah Alam.

In an exchange filing today, SunCon said both TAISEI and SCSB would have an equal proposed equity ratio of 50:50.
It said the 22 months project is expected to be completed by third quarter (Q3) of 2019.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SunCon Group from the financial year ending December 31, 2018 onwards.”
SunCon said upon securing the project, its outstanding order book as at to-date amounted to RM6.8 billion.
