BDB's Board approves re-activation of exco, dissolves BCM Working Committee

KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) has approved the re-activation of executive committee (exco) as delegation authority from the Board to assist the management until a new group managing director is appointed.

The announcement is following the passing of its managing director Datuk Izham Yusoff on Monday.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, BDB said the exco, which will be chaired by its non-independent non-executive director Abdul Rahman Abdullah, comprises of BDB Quarry Sdn Bhd executive director Mohd Sobri Hussein and group financial officer Fakhruzi Ahmad.

“The exco members are guided by the Term of Reference approved by the Board.

“With the activation of the exco, the formation of Business Continuity Management (BCM) Working Committee is now dissolved,” it said.

On Wednesday, BDB has announced that it has activated the BCM Working Committee, chaired by Fakhruzi, to manage the Group’s day-to-day business operations.
