KUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Bhd’s (PNB) Malaysian Unit Trust Week 2018 (MSAM) which ended today, saw overwhelming participation with 200,168 visitors, well exceeding initial expectations.
The exhibition, which was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on April 19, at Stadium Batu Pahat, Johor, showcased numerous programmes and activities aimed at educating the public on investing and financial literacy.
Group Chairman Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar said the number of visitors at MSAM 2018 was very encouraging and far exceeded its initial aim of 150,000 visitors.
The closing ceremony today was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Also present were Johor Chief Minister Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Johor State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani and PNB Group President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad.
