KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the exclusive distribution partner of Ford Motor Company in Malaysia, has opened a new Ford dealer facility, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (Kuching).
The Kuching showroom was designed with Ford’s global Brand@Retail standard, housing sales, service and spare parts under one roof to meet the full range of customers’ needs, SDAC said in a statement today.
Located on Rock Road in Kuching, the facility, which features a six-vehicle showroom and 13-vehicle service bays with vehicle hoists, was opened today.
SDAC Managing Director Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz said the dealer facility in Kuching was the latest proof point in the company’s network expansion and customer service enhancement plan, helping support Ford’s fast-growing customer base.
“The new facility is staffed by certified technicians and equipped with the most up-to-datediagnostic equipment and special tools to provide Ford Authorised Service, and maintain afull supply of genuine spare parts,” he said.
The showroom is open from 8.30am-5.30pm from Monday to Friday, and from 8.30am-12.30pm on Saturday, while the service centre’s opening hours are from 8am-5pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am-12pm on Saturday.
