KUALA LUMPUR: Mondelez International (Malaysia) has appointed James Kane as Managing Director to drive the company’s growth in the country.
In a statement today, the multinational confectionery company whose iconic brands include Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo, Jacobs, Belvita and Twisties said Kane replaced Swadheen Sharma, who assumed a new role as Managing Director for Southern, Central and Eastern Africa.
“James started his career with Mondelēz International in 1999 and held a variety of leadership roles around Australia and more recently in New Zealand.
“Over the years, he has developed commercial acumen, leadership capability and the ability to establish strong business disciplines and strategic customer partnerships,” it added.
