KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd (MMHE)has reported a higher net loss of RM49.80 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018 from a net loss of RM14.28 million in the same period last year.
Revenue declined to RM223.04 million for the quarter from RM257.26 million previously.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, MMHE attributed the decline in revenue to lower revenue contribution from both the heavy engineering and marine segments.
On prospect, it said the group would focus on replenishing its order book and pursue various claims with clients to fruition.
