WCV signs blockchain tech MOUs

PETALING JAYA: WORLD Cloud Ventures Pte Ltd (WCV) has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Capital City Property Sdn Bhd and Lewre Bespoke for the development of blockchain technology.

Under the terms of MoUs, WCV will use blockchain technology, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to develop solutions for Capital City Property and Lewre Bespoke to record consumer payment behaviour and transactions for big data collection to analyse their spending pattern.

“The process enables them to provide a comfortable and unique experience for their customers, which will help in their future expansion and development,” said WCV in a statement.

WCV is a leading integrated information technology (IT) solutions and software services provider.

“Blockchain technology has become more prominent and popular. The rapid development of blockchain technology and its irreplaceable decentralisation and transparency feature led to many industries implementing blockchain. Therefore, these days, many corporations are willing to invest in blockchain technology. However, they could not find the right partner to develop this technology,” said WCV founder and managing director Dr Darren Tan during the signing ceremony here.

Lewre Holdings Sdn Bhd executive chairman Datuk Lewre Lew said Lewre Bespoke trusts the company to develop a blockchain technology that will help its business.

At the same event, WCV also announced its cooperation with Tianci International Inc (CIIT).

“With the cooperation of WCV through the share exchange offer of CIIT, both can integrate resources to achieve mutual benefits and enhance competitiveness,” said WCV in its statement.

“Blockchain technology is something you can’t live without in this era. It is a major focus for WCV, which will be the biggest contributor to CIIT’s success,” said WCV business development director Johnson Yu at a press briefing.

He said WCV has a unique blockchain platform that comes in handy when developing solutions for clients in different industries.
