TNB's employees pay tribute to outgoing CEO Azman

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) employees paid their tribute to outgoing president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azman Mohd in an appreciation ceremony here today.

They flooded the multipurpose hall of the TNB headquarters in Bangsar here to express their gratitude for his services for 40 years since joining Lembaga Letrik Negara as an assistant engineer in Temerloh on October 3, 1979.

Azman, 62, who was appointed as the CEO on July 1, 2012, has left a strong legacy to more than 35,000 employees, through various initiatives in order for TNB to remain resilient during challenging times.

While giving his thanks for employees’ support during this time, Azman in his last message as the CEO, hoped that they will stay competitive..

"All the initiatives implemented are expected to be key to TNB's success in the future," he said.

Azman will officially leave office on March 31 and will be succeeded by Amir Hamzah Azizan
