KUALA LUMPUR: Construction outfit Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has won a RM227.3 million contract to build the main building of a proposed development project in Bukit Bintang here.
The proposed project is located at Jalan Padang/Jalan Padang Walter Grenier.
This is Kerjaya Prospek’s fourth contract secured in 2019, bringing its year to date contract wins to RM1.1 billion.
The company said it was close to meeting its internal target of RM1.2 billion worth of contracts for 2019.
Kerjaya Prospek currently has a huge outstanding order book of RM3.5 billion.
Executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said similar to any of the previous projects secured by it, Kerjaya Prospek would complete the latest job within expectations and budget.
“We will continue to persevere to ensure that our 2019 target (of securing RM1.2 billion worth of contracts) will be metm” he said in a statement today.
Construction work of the main building comprises one 27 storey apartment block and one 34 storey apartment block on top of a nine-storey podium car park.
The contract starts on July 1 and is to be completed in 36 months.
