KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS) has appointed Datuk Nor Azmie Diron as its new chairman effective January 17.
Nor Azmie, 51, succeeded Raja Shahreen Raja Othman, who resigned following end of his contract as chief executive officer (CEO) of KPS' largest shareholder Menteri Besar Selangor Inc (MBI).
Nor Azmie is currently Selangor state finance officer.
He also holds directorship in numerous companies including MBI-linked Worldwide Holdings Bhd, Pemodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd and Darul Ehsan Investment Group Bhd.
Raja Shahreen, 53, has been with KPS since March 31, 2015.
He has served as CEO of MBI from December 1, 2014 until November 30, 2019.
